GRANTS

Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund
Provides financial assistance to individuals for the alleviation and relief of distress, suffering and personal hardships, brought about by any disaster or emergency within Western Australia declared by the Western Australian Government or for which the LMDRF Board considers assistance is warranted.

BUSHFIRES

Federal Grant
Available through the Services Australia website from 4.2.21 – $1000 per adult, $400 per child if affected by the bushfire.

State Grant
$4000 and $2000 grants available. Further information pending. Department of Communities Disaster Response Hotline – 1800 032 965.

Country Women’s Association Community Fund
Up to $500 for individuals/families who have sustained losses due to the bushfires.

Power
Extended outage payments have doubled to $160 if there has been a loss of power for more than 12 hours.

Hawaiian Group Free Emergency Accommodation
Free accommodation provided by the Hawaiian group through the Parmelia Hilton Hotel. Also $100 Gift cards for those affected by the bushfire.
