DO YOU WORK WITH PEOPLE IN FINANCIAL HARDSHIP? THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU!
15 NOVEMBER 2021 | DUXTON HOTEL
About the Conference
FCAWA’s inaugural Networking Day is being held on Day 1 of the Annual Conference. There will be a focus on cultural & diversity training, mental wellbeing, community connection and the opportunity to link with key organisations & Financial Counsellors at the Marketplace and Community Connection Hub.
The event theme is Connection – inclusion, equity and acceptance. The potential to feel understood and united through connection is one of the most rewarding elements of being human. Connection enables the exchange of positive energy between people, allows deeper understanding and has the power to build trust and inspire change. Through connecting with diverse people, communities and organisations, we can better understand, advocate, include and empower people. Policies, programs and services will better reflect individual and community needs. Together… we can have a greater impact!
Who should attend?
The day’s program has been designed to add value to all community service organisations that have clients who are experiencing financial hardship and to assist to strengthen the link between financial counselling and the wider sector.
The event Agenda can be viewed here. The MC for the event is Famous Sharron who is sure to entertain us all!
The Marketplace and Community Connection Hub will allow you to connect with organisations that will benefit your clients. NDIS, banks, Carer’s WA, Relationships Australia, Indigenous Services Australia and many more will all be present.
